You can digitize anything you are able to get to our team through mail or pick up. This often includes photos, scrapbooks, trophies, plaques, documents, letters, film, and tapes.
Our team will always be in contact over email, but Legacy Digital aims to digitize all your content within 1 week.
Upon completion of the digitization, we will safely return your physical media, along with a thumb drive containing all of your digitized media, perfectly preserved and restored to its former glory. You will also receive an optional private web link at no extra cost.
We suggest using USPS Priority Mailboxes, which are available for free at all USPS and can be shipped to your home via USPS online orders. We do, however, still assist with sending customers ship kits whenever necessary.
Feel free to send the entire album, in which case our team will individually & carefully scan each item. Alternatively, it is always helpful to remove items from your albums yourself prior to shipping.
No, this is completely optional.
Oftentimes we can only handle large and/or framed photos during pickups & home-visit appointments. If you have a large item that you want to digitize and are outside of the United States East Coast, please send us an email and we will see how we can best accommodate.
Generally, our team digitizes all types of media. We are always receptive to hearing feedback and different requests. Contact us via phone or email and we’ll do our best to digitize your item.
We a offer a buffer of 25 photos. So you can just give us your closest guess. Any order that arrives 25 images or more above/ below their order quantity will be rebilled or refunded accordingly. In this case, we would first contact you and confirm before billing or handling your extra items.
Yes, we are happy to conduct pickups and in-home appointments. At this time, we can only accommodate customers located on the East Coast of the United States.
Contact our team and we will provide you with multiple shipping labels to fit multiple boxes.
If you are shipping your order, we recommend including a note that calls out which photos you'd like re-touched, enhanced or colorized. You can also place photo-safe sticky notes on each photo you want to flag.
